The JCPS Diversity, Equity, and Poverty Division will host the Roots & Heritage Tour: a commemorative event designed to honor the legacy of the civil rights movement
and inspire ongoing efforts toward equality and justice. Organized in collaboration with community members; the walk will take participants on a journey through the heart of downtown Louisville, retracing the steps of historic sit-in demonstrations and highlighting key civil rights events.
